During the day, Arthur Poppington (Woody Harrelson) is a normal man (even if slightly naive to the workings of the world) working in the construction industry. During the night time, he transforms into his alter-ego, Defendor, protecting the streets from thugs. The city has a problem with thugs and nobody is prepared to stand up and fight for themselves. The police are slow to catch the wrongdoers and Arthur has a huge willpower to do what he can to help the people. He helps Kat (Kat Dennings) one night from Dooney – when she really didn’t need any help – she was a hooker. Dooney (Elias Koteas) is a corrupt cop in the police force and he is in cahoots with a Serbian mob boss. Arthur has been searching for Captain industry all his life as he had killed his mother. Kat and Arthur become friends and Defendor goes after Captain Industry knowing that there is a very high chance of dying or getting arrested.

So this is a new film that stars woody harrelson as a super hero that takes on the evil of the city.

In this film we see a brilliant display from woody Harrelson who takes on a role of a harmless physcotic who believes that he is from outer space and wants to take on all badness from the city.

This film is not for the ones who are after a actioned packed sci fi that will blow your mind with special effects. This is more of a drama with a hint of comedy.

This film instead tries to portray how one man could possibly make a change to a city if he was given the right support. Harrelson a industrial worker by day, a super hero by night chases after danger as he believes that he is doing the job of the greater good by taking out bad guys and sometimes not winning the battles he faces.

Some how by accident harrelson stumbles across a hooker and a off duty police officer in which Defendor believe that the lady (hooker) is trouble and needs his help. After he saves the girl and teaches the bad guy a lesson Defendor goes on his way to stop another crime when he meets up with the same hooker again at which point he receives a beating up and has to go home to like his wounds with ……. In his safe hands.

To be honest this film does not have to best most influential start on the world but if you just stick with this film it will come good in the end and along with the plot it is a very good watch.

7/10 a good film made great by harrelsons acting.

This film short shows the lost love of a director desperate for cinematic success. With the pursuit of this you can either have one or the other but sometimes never the two. Unfortunately in this short the cinematic career takes the priority. The overall in the film though is that the lost love is always there.

I think that this is a briliant film that brings a relevancy to Peroni.

I am not a family drama sort of person but this film based on a true story is very good.

With a role like this Brendan Fraser and Harrison Ford will not be remembered for there great roles but they may be more likely to score higher in the awards ceremony. These sorts of films are brilliant creation that are trying to bring you closer to the story. Well when I first heard about this film coming out I was eager to see who was going to be who and whether it was going to be meet the hype that the film making has had. There have been speculation about the film as all the true fans have been very cautious as they will not like change. Everyone wants stuff the way it is but things have to change and this film for me has been very good.

At first I thought film was going to be quite girly with it being about cheer leading but it was actually a really good comedy! It was mainly about two Jack the lads who will do anything for a girl and take it that one step further by joining a cheer leading team to get more girls. For me this film is the Wedding Crashers meets Super Bad.

This film is superb for me this is a game that I can watch again and again. It has one liners that will stay with you for the rest of the year. I suppose you could call this a brilliant Rom Con which is for all ages, I hope to see another couple that sees this pairing again as they really did well throughout the film.

With this film came a lot of potential issues with the Vatican as it is centered round the Vatican city and what goes on in the city walls. If the Vatican were pissed about the Da Vinci Code they would of been close to the edge from the potential dangers of this Dan Brown outing.

Well I have read the book and for me to be honest I had heard stuff saying that they had followed the book but thoroughly. Well there right, if you want it to be exactly like the book don’t bother going because I think I can safely say that you will be thoroughly disappointed.

Don’t get me wrong this is a very good film for how it was made. There is only so much that you can fit in to a film without it being long and boring. I know it is a fine line and I think they have done really well considering.

The film starts with the death of the old pope and the next four recommended candidates are kidnapped. This introduces Robert Langdon as a Private investigator for the Vatican as they discover that the Illuminati is behind the kidnapping. What will happen how will they resolve this issues. The film has some twists and turns in it so I recommend this on DVD and Blu Ray
